Liberate San Managua II:
{ the Cigar Wars }
SCENARIO GAME RULES II
9. "Dead man" walks (pretending to be eliminated) are not allowed
during this event.
10. There will be no Medics during this event.
11. The two field generals may not be shot or eliminated, and will not leave
the field. Paintball guns may not be fired inside the field tent. There
will be no points awarded for capturing an enemy base. Generals may be
"assassinated" for mission points only using a special gun provided
by the event coordinators. Points will only be awarded if an assassination
mission has been sent in by the event coordinators.
12. All game props are the property of Team CT and must be returned to Team
CT and/or their official representatives. Some of the props include: RPGs,
pistols, money, code books, chemicals, explosives, helicopters, fuel, and
even a few critters.
13. Money will be provided to each team before the game, and may be found
as part of a mission during the game, and is to be used to purchase equipment,
information or the loyalty of some players.
14. Explosives may be used to blow up any single building (the tower or
any trailer, except the big L-shaped trailer, which can have either half
blown up). To use the explosive a live player must touch the building to
be blown up while the explosive is in his/her possession. ). A referee
must be informed and in position to witness the use of the explosive in
advance. If shot while attempting to deploy the explosive, the player must
drop the explosive at the point he/she was shot. The explosive may then
be picked up and used by any player. There are no "demolition experts",
any player can use the explosives. Any exploded ordnance are to be returned
to the referees.
15. An insertion helicopter will be available to the Mercenary general at
times during the game. The helicopter can only be used when the Mercs are
in control of the air strip. The helicopter will be a tall pole and a
rope with positions for up to 5 players to be "on board". The
helicopter may only be "piloted" by a referee. The lead player
on the helicopter directs its flight path and landing point. The helicopter
will bring players onto the field at one of the two insertion points, and
may land at any position on the field, except within 50 feet of a base camp
and not inside of any buildings. While players are "in" the helicopter
they must have their barrel plugs in and may not be fired upon. They can
not be eliminated, except from a direct hit by an RPG. Any player that
lets go of the rope anytime during "flight" has effectively "fallen
out of the helicopter" and is eliminated, so it is strongly recommended
that the helicopter not be flown in narrow sniper trails. When the helicopter
lands, players will remove their barrel plugs and seek shelter while the
pilot counts to 5 out loud. Until the count of 5, they may not be fired
upon. Sometimes helicopters may experience mechanical difficulties. More
information about helicopters will be presented at the event.
16. The San Managuan peasants are too poor to have helicopters. However,
since this is their home soil, they have "an ace up their sleeve"
which for now will be a secret.
17. One of the main roads on the field will become the river "Rio Managua"
for this event. This river may not be crossed, except at a designated "bridge",
or by the use of 2-man or 5-man "rafts" that will be provided
at certain times by the event staff. Anyone seen by a referee in the river
without a raft, will be eliminated.
