Liberate San Managua II:
{ the Cigar Wars }
GENERAL FIELD RULES AND SAFETY RULES
1. All of the rules that normally apply at the Paintball Zone, whether
or not specifically stated here, will still apply.
2. Absolutely no fighting will be tolerated. Any bodily injury inflicted
by one person upon another person (except injuries caused by paintballs),
will immediately result in a phone call to the police and charges placed
against the assailant.
3. Cursing, or foul language of any type, will not be tolerated. Players
acting in an unsportsmanlike manner will be removed from the field and reprimanded.
If this action continues, they will be asked to leave the event.
4. No alcohol or drug use will be permitted during the event. Anyone found
using alcohol or drugs at the event will be forced to leave the premises.
Anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be allowed on the
field.
5. No paintball gun may be fired, and every gun must have a barrel plug
in or a barrel condom on, when outside the boundaries of the playing field
6. Goggles must be worn at all times in all designated "goggles on"
areas (generally including the field of play, and the chronograph area).
Any player violating this rule will be warned, and after repeated violations
will be removed from the event.
7. 280 feet per second will be the maximum muzzle velocity allowed for all
.68 caliber paintball guns. All guns are subject to chronographing by the
staff at any time on the field or off the field. Any guns found to be shooting
over 280 feet per second on the field are subject to elimination, and may
be asked to leave the event after repeated offenses.
8. Airsoft guns are not allowed. Homemade or commercial bazookas, grenade
launchers, and the like, must be approved before use by the event coordinators.
No such device may be directed at personnel, only bunkers, towers and buildings.
9. There are several hazardous areas on the field of play. Be careful not
to hit your head when climbing the stairs in the tower. Be aware that slipping
can occur (from paintball fill) when inside any of the trailers, or inside
the tower. The trailers and tower are also sources of tripping hazards.
Be especially aware of holes in the trailer floors. Other tripping hazards
include roots, rocks and vines. Some structures may have exposed nails,
screws or other sharp objects. If you find any, inform the staff so they
can be removed. There may also be poison oak in some areas. Bees can also
be a problem at certain times. There are water hazards at the eastern and
southern boundaries of the field. Some of the water is deceptively deep,
and some water has moss on the surface making it appear to be solid ground.
We recommend that you stay out of the water. Players are absolutely not
allowed to climb in trees or on any of the structures, except the stairs
inside the tower.
10. Every player or on-field spectator shall sign two waivers, one must
be turned in to the Paintball Zone staff, and one must be turned into the
Team CT, before you are allowed to play. Minors must have the waiver signed
by their parent or guardian. There will be no medical staff on site. Anyone
that makes the decision to play at this event, does so at their own risk.
11. CO2 and compressed air may only be supplied by the Paintball Zone fill
stations. All bottles must comply with Dept. of Transportation requirements,
and must have up-to-date certification markings for hydrostatic testing.
