From the Town of BUNN, NORTH CAROLINA

On a recent trip I had the good fortune to swing by the friendly town of Bunn, NC. What follows are a few pictures of our visit.

FOOD LION

The first place Hwy 39 runs into is the Food Lion where we met the nice folks pictured at the left; Joye Brantley, Paul Bither, Danielle Kinal, & Kaleb King.

The 2nd place Hwy 39 runs into is the Family Dollar where we met these nice folks pictured at the left;

BUNN POLICE STATION

(See the patches I bought on ebay below.)

	To the Left of Food Lion is the Bunn Police Station. Unfortunetly I was unable to catch anyone there, but I did snap these shots. According to the FL staff they are hard to find at the station this time of night, because they are busy patrolling the area.

	Directly across the street from Food Lion is the Bunn Library of Franklin Co. What a warm and pleasant supprise that we found it open, and met Alyce Kidd. In her picture (right) she was holding up All Quite on the Western Front, the book of the month. After giving Sue some flyers and showing us the library she showed us the books about the history of the town of Bunn! Thank you Alyce!!!

BUNN RURAL FIRE DEPARTMENT

Thank you's to the Bunn Fire Department!!!

	What an amazing coincident, that stopping by the Fire Dept I found the volunteer crew assembled for one of thier practices, and was allowed to take these shots!

Bunn Schools

Across Main street is Bunn High School, and down the road is Bunn Elementary. I wish I could have been there during the day to see the schools in action. I will add links to them shortly.

Bunn Post Office

Next is the Post Office. Very nice and modern.

Subway & Hess

Just down Main street is the Subway/TCBY shop, and the Hess gas station. Thanks also for making us feel welcome to Bunn and the sandwitches!!!

Original Stores

Just past Hess is the original Main street with some great old stores, but unfortunetly closed at this time of night. Pictured above are the ABC Store, Silver Spoon Cafe, Lady Bug, and Winstead Grocery & General Merchandise. I would have loved exploring them all!!!
