 DUST STORMS

Out of no where a wall of
red is seen moving westward—
here comes a dust
storm!When we see it
coming we run to close
every window in the house
because we know that
within minutes there will
be strong winds and the air
will be filled with red dust.
Darkness covers
all the area.

The dust usually blows thick and red
for about 15 minutes. Leaving piles of
dust both inside and out. After the
dust we sometimes get a nice rain that
cools things down and turns
all the dust to mud.
This is usually the sign that the rainy
season is on its way.

“The Lord is slow to anger and great in power; . . . His way is in the
whirlwind and the storm, and clouds are the dust of his feet.” Nahum 1:3
